Rik Allen

There is no perfect combination in creativity than Peter and glass artist Rik Allen.  Man, oh man, does Peter LOVE this work.  Peter has photographed Rik's work for several years now and it was exciting for both of us to see it installed locally. Our very own Museum of Northwest Art currently has a show worth any effort to see. It includes a combination of both Rik's individual works and a site specific piece.

The adjoining gallery includes a complimentary exhibition by (one of Lisa's favorites) Allen Moe.  (Yes, seriously, I pine after an Allen Moe piece all my own).  This new work of Allen's in a perfect union with Rik's... it is a feast.

But wait... then there is a collaboration piece with Lanny Bergner.  This show just can't get any better.

What??  You haven't seen it?  Ummmmm.... HELLO?  GO.  GO TO the Museum of NW Art.

If you need help contacting these artists or finding this museum:  I'm your girl, lisa@kuhnlein.com

Cheers,

Lisa

I feel an affinity for this seven foot giant.  He is an Early Grey Hair... just like me...

Collaboration piece with Lanny Bergner.
I just love this piece especially in the context of the entire show.

Artists are amazing, no?
The ideas, the decisions, the preoccupation, the dedication...
... what a gift they give us...
