Our Big, Exciting NEWS!!

Yes, indeed.  Peter and I have big, exciting news and we want you all to be the first to know! After much soul searching and hard decision making, Peter and I are moving on to the next phases of our photographic careers!  It is time… and we are so excited for this next big step.  Life is short and you cannot wait for changes to come to you.  You must make them happen.Peter will taking over the helm of KP Studios and the focus of his work will be commercial, editorial and fine art documentation.  He will begin working more often in the Seattle metro area so please refer him to your friends! Lisa will be spending more time with Madelyn and Sophia, writing and working on her photographic blogs, books and art work.We love portraiture and wedding work, but the last few years we have felt interests growing in other photographic directions. And we love change!This November and December we will be busy finishing up projects, making these changes, revamping our website and relocating our studio.  We will stop taking regular appointments on November 21st.  Let us know if you are interested in renting our current studio (peter@kuhnlein.com)!  We have made arrangements for a new studio and will announce more on that in January. NO Halloween Photos this year... After almost five years of doing free Halloween photos, we will not this year.  Its very sad actually.  We love this crazy day!  Unfortunately, it just doesn’t make sense with our new direction and the schedule for moving out of the studio  Prop and Gear Sale We will be having a: Prop and Gear Sale on Nov 23rd and  Nov 24th from 10am – 4pm.   So MARK YOUR CALENDARS.   There will be lots of cool chairs, settees, blankets, extra miscellaneous photographic gear (books, flashes, tripods), etc.

Limited Portrait Sessions still available

Lisa will continue to do four portrait sessions a month beginning January 2nd.  Email as soon as possible as these sessions will get booked fast (lisa@kuhnlein.com).  We will book by month, not by specifc date until closer too.  In other words, let me know the month you would like to reserve a session.  (For new clients we will ask for a $100 deposit to reserve). The new sessions will look like this: The Portraiture Session is $450.   It includes a one to two hour session, website of your images for sharing and ordering reprints and a DVD of images.   The Fine Art Session is $600.   It will include a two to three hour session, a website of your images for sharing and ordering reprints and a DVD of images.  It will also include a custom created encaustic fine art piece.  (Only one of these sessions available per month).    More samples coming soon...     ... this is new... more information coming in January...
